For Florida native and avid baseball fan William Talley, a career in banking was a home run. He was able to step up to the plate, keep his eye on the ball, and go to bat for his clients and help them achieve their financial goals.
A graduate of the Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University (Go Tigers!), William has been a banking professional for 23 years and is currently the Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Manager of Marine Bank.
Marine Bank fits William like a glove since the Bank shares his commitment to local residents and businesses and motivates every employee to get involved and give back. Over the past seven years, William has organized the annual Marine Bank charity softball game which has raised more than $60,000 for local charities.
He is also co-chairman of the Affordable Housing Committee for the City of Fort Piece, board member of the Treasure Coast Sports Commission, committee member of the Treasure Coast Sports Foundation, and is actively involved with the Economic Development Council of St Lucie County and the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (Florida DEO). He has been a featured speaker at various Small Business Development Center (SBDC) & Small Business Administration (SBA) conferences throughout the State of Florida.
William and his wife Nicole currently live in Fort Pierce with their son, Preston.
