Overview

This position will focus on outside business development with an emphasis on establishing and maintaining business relationships, specifically business loans and deposits. All employees must always be proactive for Marine Bank and Trust Company (MB&T) and adhere to MB&T core values.

Position Requirements

  • Outgoing personality
  • Knowledgeable of St. Lucie and Martin County markets
  • Become actively involved in St. Lucie and Martin County communities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of business financial statements and tax returns
  • Maintain knowledge of all MB&T products and services
  • Be aware of MB&T’s Loan Policy and what constitutes a desirable loan
  • Attend sales meetings

Required Qualifications & Education:

  • Develop a referral network
  • Develop and maintain high value target prospect list
  • Make at least 20 outside cold calls and 10 high valued target calls per week
  • Develop at least $750,000 of qualified commercial loan leads per month
  • Develop at least $250,000 of qualified commercial deposit leads per month
  • Make at least 1 qualified referral per month to MB&T wealth management partner
