Marine Bank & Trust has announced that Pedro Guirola has joined the Bank’s Melbourne team as a commercial lender responsible for assisting businesses by providing the capital needed to expand their business, invest in their future, or seize current market opportunities. He will be based in Marine Bank’s Melbourne banking center at 3303 Suntree Boulevard.
Most recently, Guirola was the Brevard Market Manager for Community Credit Union. He received his MBA from the University of Rochester, Simon School of Business. He is proficient in English and Spanish and is a member of The National Society of Hispanic MBAs.

In 2020, Marine Bank closed 166 commercial loans totaling $55 million which delivered vital capital to Main Street businesses. Additionally in 2020, the Bank originated 790 SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans for $62 million which funded eight weeks of payroll for an estimated 6,500 employees.
